Why was “100% Additive-Free Natural Tobacco" and "natural" removed from advertising and packaging?

To resolve the concerns raised by the FDA, we will no longer use the terms “additive-free” and “natural” to describe our product on packs or in advertising.  By using those words to describe our product the FDA had concerns that some adult tobacco consumers may think our products are safer for you.  There is no such thing as a safe cigarette.  As our disclosure states, Natural American Spirit cigarettes are not safer than other cigarettes.  We will continue to use Natural in our brand name – Natural American Spirit and our company name – Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company.  If you have additional questions, please call our Consumer Relations team toll-free at 1-800-332-5595 Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Mountain Time.

Does this mean your product will be changing?
